Symantec Corporate AntiVirus

So I schedule some downtime for our server at the Practice Firm to upgrade our Symantec Corporate AntiVirus server from 8.0 to 9.0. The upgrade goes relatively smoothly until I start to upgrade the client on my workstation. I run into this problem and try to do this.  So I talk to licensing and they say, "Oh, you're entitled to 10.0."  But didn't that previous document just say that any software upgrades that I'm entitled to are automatically shipped to me?  Anyways, I let that slide and asked her how I could get 10.0?  She said to just log into fileconnect.symantec.com with my serial number and download.  I'm happy that I'm getting the free upgrade to 10.0, but I'm kind of put off since the last two hours of upgrading and diagnosing was a waste.  So now I have to reschedule more downtime to do another upgrade and then roll this out to the clients.  Luckily I hadn't gotten to that last step before I discovered this.
